Twitter Knocks Burna Boy For Saying No One Paved Way For Him In Music Industry

Grammy-nominated artiste Burna Boy has taken to social media to state that he is the best Nigerian artiste since Fela.

According to Burna, no one in the industry paved the way, he got to the height he is today all by himself

”FACT! I always knew I was and I am THE BEST. Everyone you think is the best KNOWS I’m BEST since Fela Kuti. But @timayatimaya told me something a long time ago that made me not care about being the best. “The World can do without the Best” the world will still spin regardless.

“Lol. NOBODY paved shit for me. Everybody dey find them own. I bin Out here, if you knew the way they made us look weak by begging and paying the western world to like us you will see that no table was set and I’m the one that brought you the Respect you currently enjoy.”

His tweets have since gotten many to drag him silly on Twitter.

At least 30 people were killed in the northeastern Nigerian state of Borno after an improvised explosive device detonated on a bridge, on Monday.

The bomb detonated at roughly 5 p.m. local time (1600 GMT) on a crowded bridge in the market town of Gamboru that leads into neighboring Cameroon.

More than 35 injured people were taken to the local hospital following the attack.

No group immediately took responsibility. Both Boko Haram and the regional offshoot of Islamic State, known as ISWAP, are active in the area.

Okada ban: Man escapes Lagos state law by mounting dustbin on his bike

A rider in Lagos state has devised a way to beat the state’s ban on Okadas – In a video that has gone viral online, the man tied a trash can behind his bike so he could look like a dispatch rider – It should be noted that the ban on Okadas and Kekes by the government started on Saturday, February 1 The Okada ban by the Lagos state government which restricted the movement of bikes and Keke (motorcycles) has no doubt put many residents under untold hardship. With Lagos frustrating traffic, many are having a hard time getting to work as their sole means of cutting traffic is no more. Among ways to ensure they get to their workplaces on time is having to wake up on time so as to set out early.

In a recent viral video , a man was seen trying to bypass the new law by turning his Okada into a dispatch bike.

It should be noted that dispatch bikes are exempted from the ban as only commercial Okadas and Kekes are affected. The said man used a dust bin to serve as a delivery box and he donned a helmet in a way that makes him look like a dispatch rider. Watch the video below
